KALA PATTHAR

Kala Patthar is the original Everest Base Camp as the ascent of Kala Patthar begins at Gorakshep (5,164 m or 16,942 ft). We can have a magnificent view of Mt. Everest and other nearby peaks of the Himalayas.
The ascent of Kala Patthar is very popular with trekkers in the region of Mount Everest since it provides the most accessible close-up view of Everest. Now there is one small Lake and a Helipad at Kalapatthar base.
